This awarding winning violin-guitar duo is redefining the 21st -century violin-guitar art form, presenting a new chamber music that is mixed-genre, multi-cultural, and cross-era. Violinist Strauss Shi and guitarist TY Zhang met at the Julliard School and discovered their chemistry as friends and in music-making. ArcoStrum captures the hearts of audiences through charisma, dazzling virtuosity, and onstage chemistry. Our audience will be enchanted with original transcriptions of beloved classical repertoire, a unique blend of Chinese-Western instrumentations, and modern progressive rock. Doors open at 4 pm for pre-concert reception with light hor' deurves and cash bar.
